Good Afternoon and Happy Friday,

We made it; the weekend is here! I have a pretty packed day today, all of which I am super excited about! This morning, I participated in the Global Climate Strike March in Chicago. Young students and their adult allies around the world marched for recognition and urgent action on our planet’s climate. This is a cause that I feel is extremely important and I’ve always been interested in doing more to show my support, so I’m happy to be playing a very small role in such a monumental day.

After the march, I’ll spend the rest of the day at work…typical. But tonight, I am grabbing dinner in the city and going to see the JONAS BROTHERS in concert with my mom. I haven’t been to a Jonas Brothers concert in over 10 years, so I cannot even begin to explain this weird nostalgic, giddy feeling I’ve had since I bought my tickets earlier this week. I literally started crying listening to an old album this morning on my drive into the city. I cannot freaking wait! I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and an even better weekend. Friday Favorites 9/13

Happy Friday Loves,

We made it to the weekend (almost)! I have to admit, this week was rough. I was up until at least 1AM every night for no apparent reason other than pure insomnia. Makes waking up in the morning for work that much harder and lots of coffee was needed. I am glad to say I survived though, silver lining! Also, having really great dinners after work always helps me get through a tougher week. I tried a new Korean BBQ place last night and it was SO FUN! If you’ve never been to a Korean BBQ restaurant before, you need to go. It’s such a unique experience. Anyways, I’m done rambling, here are some of the best things I found on the internet this week. Friday Favorites Series Launch 8/23

Happy Friday!

You have made it through the week and are hours away from enjoying the weekend! How exciting is that. Just take a quick moment and reflect on all of the tasks/projects you’ve completed this week. You killed it and I am proud of you.

I am a firm believer that consistency is key. Whether you are writing content, consuming content or trying to adapt a new habit, consistency will get you there. One of the aspects I love about my favorite bloggers is their ability to consistently engage their readers with series that they’ve implemented. I love staying with a blogger through their journey of a series, almost like watching a new episode every week of your favorite show or listening to a new podcast released every Thursday. I have dreamt up some series I would love to start working on, but in the meantime, I thought we could dip our toe in the water and start with what I’m calling my Friday Favorites series.

Friday Favorites are going to be exactly what they sound like. They are going to be short and sweet linking to some of my favorite things that I’ve discovered on the Internet in the past week. Topics will range from world news, pop culture, articles I read and loved, Instagram content, other blog content to products I currently have on my “wish list”. I’m really excited to launch this and hope you will return every Friday around noon to see some of the best things on the internet for the week. Hold me accountable!
