I just had an amazing dinner and I am itching to catch up on this week’s Project Runway so I am going to make this super short and sweet. Below, I’ve posted some of my favorite links around the web this week. I hope you enjoy!
That’s cause for celebration in and of itself! It was my first full week back at work since December 20th and let me tell you, it was NOT easy. I feel more tired than I have in a while, stressed again with business and I think there’s a direct correlation with working and my skin looking 10 years older than I actually am. But, I’m hopeful that after some much needed extra rest this weekend, I will be back better than ever next week.
Since I haven’t posted one of these in a while, I’ve included some additional amazing articles and videos that have surfaced the interweb over the past couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy celebrity baby news, tear-jerking proposals and videos of people falling as much as I do. Enjoy!
It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year! I have to say yesterday, I was meeting my boyfriend at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago where he works and almost teared up when I saw the Christmas tree in the lobby. It was quite literally the first decorated tree I’ve seen this year and it just all set in at once that we are officially in the holiday season. I need to get some shopping done ASAP.
This weekend’s plans definitely reflect my newfound holiday spirit. Tonight, I am going to a Friendsgiving and then tomorrow, I will be at the Stratford Crossing holiday event in Bloomingdale, IL from noon-3PM. This event is one that you are not going to want to miss because Santa is arriving on a helicopter, there are activities for all ages and if you spend $25 or more at any of the Stratford Crossing stores the day of the event, you receive a free photo with Santa. If you are from the Chicagoland area and are available, I hope to see you there. Let me know if you have any questions about the event before then. One last time, it’s tomorrow Saturday, Nov. 23 from noon-3PM at Stratford Crossing in Bloomingdale, IL.
Back to regularly scheduled programming! If you find yourself catching up on this past week’s current events, here is a list of some of my favorite things on the internet this week. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
I hope you all had the best week! From dinners to meetings and events, mine was quite the whirlwind. One of the highlights…getting to meet Clay from Bachelor in Paradise last night at the Hubbard Inn grand re-opening party. He was so nice and I even got to snag a picture with him!
This is the time of year that’s the busiest, so it’s hard to make certain things a priority even if it’s something we love. In the midst of all the holiday celebrations ahead, it is still my mission to really get back into posting articles here more often and making them as relevant as possible. I value you so much and value your opinion. Please always stay in touch with me and let me know what you’d like to see more of. For the time being, I have compiled some of the cutest, tear-jerking articles that were on the internet this week. I guess I was just feeling a little more sentimental than usual. If you find yourself looking for entertainment this weekend, start with this list!
This week’s Wish List is also holiday party themed as I know so many people are shopping for the perfect outfits right now. I hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!
I cannot believe we only have two months of this year left…Where did 2019 go?!
This weekend, I am staying in the city watching a co-workers house and kitty while she’s out of town. I barely ever get to stay downtown, so I plan on fully taking advantage of this situation. I have dinner plans tonight with a couple friends at a place I’ve never been to before and then tomorrow I am participating in the Cliquish Faces of Content Tour and may stop by the new Uncommon James location in the West Loop. Who knows where else the weekend might take me, but if you follow me on Instagram, you can follow along on my adventures.
If you’re not up to speed on your current events this week, here are some great articles to read this weekend. My Wish List this week is entirely made up of new jeans because I am in serious need of a Fall jean haul. Hope you have a great weekend!
It’s finally the weekend! I don’t know about you, but I feel like this week totally flew by. Unfortunately, I think the nonstop running around that’s been going on for a couple weeks now is finally catching up to me. My throat feels like it’s on fire and I feel like I could fall asleep at any second. My insides are warm but I am currently sitting at my desk with a jacket on because I’m freezing. I think I caught it…whatever it is I don’t know but it is coming. Ugh! I HATE being sick.
But, in good ole Sydney fashion, I have a jammed day with work, dinner in the city and then a Blackhawks game tonight, so sorry germs but ain’t nobody got time for you today. I hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend. If you find yourself looking for some entertainment, here are some fun articles, videos and trendy pieces I found on the internet this week. Enjoy!
Okay, I just HAD to share the above photo today in honor of the fact that this time last year I packed my bags with my two best friends and we flew to Iceland on our spontaneous girl’s trip. My first ever international trip. And on this exact day one year ago, we enjoyed a full spa day at the infamous Blue Lagoon. I mean look at how blue that water is!! This was seriously the trip of a lifetime, and I honestly miss that feeling so much. I could cry looking at photos from Iceland because it was truly that magical. There’s really no other word to describe it. Luckily, in a handful of months, I’ll be embarking on my next international trip. Can’t wait to share this destination soon!
I have had a crazy busy day so far and it is only just the beginning of a crazy busy weekend ahead. Today was on of those full maintenance days: hair colored, mani, pedi, the works. Later tonight, it’s the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner for the wedding I’m in tomorrow. Obviously then that means that Saturday is full on wedding day from dusk to dawn. Sunday is a recoup day. Finally, on Monday we are heading up to Michigan on a winery trip for my mom’s birthday. It’s insanity, but a good, fun kind of insanity, ya know? If you are looking for some light weekend reading, I have rounded up my favorite articles on the internet this week and some HOT Fall items on this week’s Wish List. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
To be completely honest, this week was crazy and my brain is officially fried…I know I usually take this time to ramble on about things happening in my life, but this week I’m going to cut the crap and get straight to the point because this girly needs a break. Just one of those weeks, ya know. Here are some of the best articles I found on the internet this week. If you find yourself bored over the next couple of days, this is a great list of fun and light weekend reading. Hope you enjoy!
I hope you had a wonderful week and are gearing up for an even better weekend. Whether you’re planning for a big blowout or a relaxing few days at home, there is plenty to be thankful for now that Friday has finally made her appearance. About FIVE hours to go and we are officially signing out for the week! Do you have any fun plans this weekend? I’m going to the Shedd After Hours House Night tonight and then am considering crashing my mom’s Book Club tomorrow. Actually, I guess it’s less of a book club and rather sipping cocktails and eating delicious food gathering, which I’m all about. If you’re looking for some sort reads to get you through the rest of today or light reading for the weekend, here are some of the best articles I found on the internet this week. Hope you enjoy!
I heard of Rage Yoga this morning on the radio and I’m kind of really into it!
One of my favorite content creators, Jenny Cipoletti, describes the first time she fell in love with fashion and shares an image recreation/interpretation of that moment. I loved this piece of content because it reminded me of my own journey to finding a passion for the fashion industry
