My Tech Backgrounds

Happy Monday,

TBQH (to be quite honest), I never really thought about or frankly cared about the background of my tech devices. iPhone background, iPhone wallpaper, Desktop screensaver, Tablet background…none of the above crossed my mind. All of that changed in one fell swoop when I randomly discovered the ingenious, monthly-themed tech backgrounds from The Everygirl. That’s right, at the beginning of every new month, The Everygirl releases a slew of perfectly curated backgrounds for all of your tech devices. The range of devices you can download the backgrounds for include Desktop, iPhone 8 / Google Pixel, iPhone X / iPhone 11, Samsung Galaxy or iPad / Tablet. A variety is offered so you can choose the one that quintessentially coincides with your personality or aesthetic.

I’ve been rotating my backgrounds now since November of last year, and I’m obsessed! In complete transparency, I almost look forward to the first of a new month, so I can quickly navigate to The Everygirl’s site and download my new screensavers. February first was a magical day for me. It’s the little things that get me excited nowadays.

Here are some of the past tech backgrounds I’ve chosen from The Everygirl’s site. My February choice is in the above image.

If your interest is piqued, and it should be, here is a link to the new February backgrounds. This is one of those tools that help me stay uber organized. I love the background options with a calendar view so I can quickly access the entire month’s outline. It’s one of those things you never knew you needed until you finally got it! Again, I’m OBSESSED, go download your favorite NOW!

Sincerely,

Matching Sets

Hello There,

Happy Tuesday! So happy we are already two days into the week and that much closer to the weekend again. I am also so happy with how this matching Rosetta Getty set actually turned out. I was a little apprehensive to order it using my Rent the Runway Unlimited Membership, but I figured since the Fall months are quickly approaching, there was no time like the present to see if matching sets were my thing. This one is GREAT! The quality of the material is evident and the small houndstooth print elevates the simplistic silhouette. The versatility of matching sets is really what peaks my interest. As a woman constantly on the go, I am impressed with the fact that you can wear the pieces either together or as separates. Its color palette holds the perfect warm tones for the chillier season and the sleek design makes it perfect to layer with light trenches for Fall. I wish I had a million and one of these. If I have convinced you to start searching for sets of your own, here are some options to consider. Hope you have a great rest of your week. Talk soon!

After doing some research for this post, Ann Taylor actually has a ton of matching sets on their site. They seem to make multiple pieces (blouses, trousers, skirts, blazers, etc.) in the same print, which is great for mixing and matching. Another company that I know does this a lot is Old Navy.
