Happy Sunday Friends,
Bachelorette nation rejoice! I had the best time last night dancing, sipping cocktails, browsing new clothes AND, probably most important, meeting the one and only JoJo Fletcher herself. For those of you that didn’t catch my Instagram stories from last night, I went to the Fletch Pop-Up Event at the Lakewood in Chicago where I got to shop the new SS19 collection and preview JoJo’s new swim pieces before they hit the site on Monday 4/29. JoJo and Jordan were both there and took time to walk around and take pictures with everyone. Is JoJo not the cutest?!?! Are her and Jordan not the most adorable couple? I have been a Bachelor/Bachelorette fan for YEARS, so seeing them in person was a dream come true not to mention all of the other amazing perks the night provided. I’m still on cloud nine.
The Lakewood boasted the perfect venue for JoJo’s “LA Edge”, as I like to call it, SS19 collection. Bold colors, bright prints, sexy silhouettes lined the clothing racks throughout the venue alongside the most Instagrammable back drops, one on about each corner. As top hits like Ariana Grande’s Break Up with Your Boyfriend and the Jonas Brother’s Sucker echoed through the studio space, vibrant colors and textures drew your eye from one place to the next. As the cherry on top of a well decked out sundae, Chicago’s Public House had the most amazing dessert table to select from. From churros to cake milkshakes, the sweet treats added the perfect touch to an all-around FUN event.
I was super nervous seeing JoJo and Jordan but knew I’d totally regret it if I let my intimidation get in the way of a once in a lifetime opportunity. Endless amounts of topics came to mind when I thought about what I’d say to them when it was my turn to snap a pic. JoJo, how was the experience of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show? Do you still have the Cubs jersey Ben Higgins gave you in Wrigley? Jordan, can you tell us any details about your new renovation project coming up? I loved your Engaged video series. When it came time, as it is for events like these, an in-depth conversation wasn’t exactly in the cards, but I did welcome Jordan to Chicago and apologized for the disgusting weather and I got to hug JoJo and tell her how much I adore her and how big of a fan I am. I captured the moments with both of them and that was more than enough for me.

The clothes! Everything was so cute, and the quality is absolutely incredible. As soon as I walked in and saw JoJo, she was wearing this purple and yellow leopard print, silk midi skirt (the one in the above picture) that I knew I had to have. And guess what I came home with? Prior to the event, I had been searching the website for exactly what pieces I wanted so I could make a beeline when the doors to the event opened up. My eyes were glued to the Yellow Olivia Vest Dress and she also came home with me last night. One of the coolest parts of the entire event was that we were the first people to see her new swim line. I am totally into high-waisted, swim bottoms this year, so when I saw a one-shoulder, reversible, two-piece (one side yellow leopard print and the other side a color block yellow and rust color) I snatched that baby up faster than you could say Fletch.
I had so much fun and it was definitely a night I will never forget. Even my mom, who was my date for the evening and had no prior knowledge of JoJo or Fletch, came away a new fan. Fletch has now made us loyal followers and we cannot wait to see what she comes out with in the future. Thank you, JoJo for an amazing night!
Sincerely,
